Elham Methodist Church hosts two prayer meetings in the Methodist Hall, open to all persons of any denomination or none. On the first Thursday of each month at 7.30pm half to three quarters of an hour of prayers, led by Rev Kevin Taylor and members of the church and including a cup of tea.  On a Saturday morning, every quarter at 8 am half an hour of prayer led by various Ministers followed by breakfast (cereal, toast, juice and coffee or tea) at 8.30.  The next Thursday meetings will be 6th July and 3rd August. The next Prayer Breakfasts will be 2nd September and 2nd December. 

Anyone welcome, come and join us       

CHURCH EVENTS 

 

Vicarage Allsorts & Mystical Moments II

An evening of poetry & music at St Martin’s, Wootton. Saturday August 19th at 7pm.

All are welcome, light refreshments will be served during the interval. Free entrance and a retiring collection to assist the upkeep of our glorious church heritage.


Ride and Stride for Kent Churches: Saturday 9th September

Sue and Mike Prebble will be taking part and will be looking for Sponsors nearer the time. Anyone else who would like to take part see Sue. Details will be in the St Martin’s church after the Flower Festival. Last year our church raised over £500 towards the total of £137,000.

A ‘Welcome to Newcomers to Elham’ Coffee morning. Saturday 16th September 2017 10am to 12 noon. At the home of Diana and Patrick Wheeler: Elham Manor, Old Rd. Elham CT4 6UL. Please let Diana (840 310) dianawheeler@btinternet.com or Gillian (840 624) gillian.david@zen.co.uk know if you wish to receive an invitation or if youhave had new neighbours in the past year. Please include names and addresses. Children are welcome. Members of local organisations will be there to welcome and give information.

The Harvest Service will be held this year in the Elham Methodist Church on Sunday 24th. September.

The Harvest Lunch will be held in St Mary's on Sunday 24 September and everyone is most welcome.  More details in September.

9. a.m. every Friday morning 15 Minute Silent Prayer for Peace. 
Evensong or Ecumenical Taizé style servicesof hymns, prayer, readings and meditation are held in St. Mary's Church Elham on a Sunday evening on the 4th. Sunday of some months. Watch the Calendar for details
